PPF is a virtually invisible urethane barrier applied directly to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It absorbs rock chips, road debris, and minor abrasions—then self-heals in the sun. Pittsburgh roads don’t play nice. PPF does.

What is the legal window tint limit in Pennsylvania?
In Pennsylvania, front side windows must allow more than 70% light transmission. Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be any darkness. The windshield can only have a tinted sun strip above the AS-1 line. We always install within legal limits and advise you on compliant shade options.
How long does automotive window tinting take?
Most standard automotive tint jobs are completed in 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the vehicle and number of windows. Full-vehicle packages with complex glass shapes may take slightly longer. We’ll give you an accurate time estimate when you book your appointment.
What’s the difference between ceramic and carbon tint?
Ceramic tint uses nano-ceramic particles for the highest heat rejection (up to 60%) and is completely signal-transparent—ideal for GPS, cell service, and radio. Carbon tint uses carbon particles, delivers excellent heat rejection, and has a matte non-reflective finish. Both are significantly better than standard dyed films.
How long does window film take to cure?
Most films fully cure in 3 to 7 days depending on weather conditions. During this time you may notice slight haze or small water pockets—this is completely normal and disappears as the film cures. Avoid rolling down tinted windows or cleaning the inside of the glass for at least 3 days after installation.
Do you offer warranties on tint installations?
Yes. We install premium-brand films that come with manufacturer-backed warranties covering bubbling, peeling, delamination, and color change. Warranty terms vary by film type. We’ll walk you through your specific coverage at the time of installation.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
We’re located at 643 Mount Nebo Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237—in the North Hills. We serve all of Pittsburgh and surrounding communities across Allegheny, Westmoreland, Butler, Washington, and Beaver counties. Call us at (412) 716-8608 to confirm your area.
Can you tint my home or business windows?
Absolutely. We install residential and commercial window films on homes, offices, retail stores, dispensaries, restaurants, and large commercial buildings. Options include solar control, privacy, security, decorative, and UV protection films for interior and exterior applications.
How is Paint Protection Film different from window tint?
Window tint is a film applied to glass to control light and heat. PPF is applied to your vehicle’s painted exterior surfaces—hood, bumper, fenders—to protect paint from rock chips, scratches, and road debris. PPF is clear (or matte) and often features self-healing technology. The two products complement each other well.
